The Mars Wrigley Foundation has supported the FEE Eco-Schools and YRE Litter Less Campaign since 2011. Over the past ten years, the Litter Less Campaign has been run in over 40 countries world-wide, engaging over 4 million youth in the process. Today, it is being implemented through 12 countries running the Eco-Schools programme and 11 countries running the YRE programme. Through the campaign, students are empowered to understand the key issues surrounding litter and waste in their communities, thereby driving individual and community actions that focus on consuming less, recycling more, tackling waste issues, and fostering long term behavior change.

Podio has furnished the Foundation for Environmental Education with free, unlimited use of their product, including all of the features of their Podio Plus account. Their communication tool is helping the FEE and our members to run projects, organise events, and stay coordinated.

Thanks to the support of Alcoa Foundation, Foundation for Environmental Education’s Eco-Schools programme has launched a global K-12 environmental literacy initiative focused on Green STEM. The project will educate children about environmental issues through science, technology, engineering and maths skills. Through this project, twenty thousand students in Australia, Brazil, Norway and Italy, and in Texas, North Carolina and New York in the United States, will be given opportunities to assess, design, and build innovative solutions to environmental challenges.

Founded in 2020, the Helvellyn Foundation is an independent charitable organisation funded by the Holmes family. The Foundation supports organisations working towards biodiversity protection and equal access to opportunities for young people.
