Reports to: Marketing and Communications Director
Location: Copenhagen, Denmark
Position: Full-time unpaid in-person internship for spring semester 2025 (5-6 months)
THE INTERNSHIP
This in-person internship, running through the Spring 2025 semester, offers a unique blend of creative and analytical tasks in a 50/50 work-from-home and office arrangement in Copenhagen. You’ll collaborate with our team on various project and work across all the FEE programmes. The internship is placed within the FEE communications team that provides communications support to all programme teams.
Duties and responsibilities:
Content creation: Creating visuals and copy writing for social media, reports, and events (experience working with Canva is desirable).
Social media: Crafting engaging posts and assisting with posting across various platforms (Instagram, Facebook & LinkedIn) and scheduling using Hootsuite
Storytelling: Helping shape narratives to elevate our message
Data analysis: Tracking performance metrics and offering insights using tools such as Google Analytics
Support: Other tasks as assigned by the team
Personal and professional skills and qualifications
We are looking for university students with the following qualifications:
Currently pursuing a degree in marketing, graphic design, communications, journalism, or a related field. We encourage students to apply for this internship as a part of their study programme.
A strong passion for environmental sustainability and environmental education.
Excellent writing and communication skills.
Digitally savvy and willing to learn new digital tools and platforms (We use the following tools, but we don’t expect you to know how to use all of them - Canva, Hootsuite, CapCut, Squarespace, Flickr, Exposure, Google Analytics, and the Microsoft Office suite – some knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite is an advantage).
Familiarity with social media platforms and content creation.
A creative and proactive approach to problem-solving.
Fluent in written and spoken English
Comfortable working in a multicultural environment.
Collaborative team player with a desire to support your colleagues and work together as a team.
A passion for staying updated on industry trends and an eagerness to explore new avenues in communications and digital platforms.

Duration
Spring semester internship (Jan/Feb-June 2025).
This is a full-time internship opportunity (37 hours a week including a 30 min lunch break).
This is an unpaid internship within the communications team and reports to the Marketing and Communications Director.
Start date
Flexible start date but at the latest by 3 February 2025.

Interviews will be conducted on an ongoing basis. We would like to fill the position before the end of the year. The interview will last approximately 45 min and can take place either online or in-person at our office in Sydhavn. We prefer meeting you in real life though!

This position requires that you have a residence and work permit in Denmark. Please follow this link for further information New to Denmark (nyidanmark.dk, please note, that there are specific rules for EU/EEA citizens. Unfortunately, we are unable to assist with relocation to Copenhagen.
